Machine Operator
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $20 - $22 (+$3 shift differential)
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM; hours may vary)
OT as required by business needs
Position Summary
We are seeking a Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating glass-edging machinery, inspecting product quality, and ensuring production efficiency while maintaining safety standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Operate single-side straight-line glass edging machine to polish glass/mirror edges
- Inspect products for defects and report abnormalities to supervisor
- Read and follow work instructions, labels, and picking lists
- Maintain production flow and meet daily output goals
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with CNC, CMS, hand fabrication, or polish machines preferred but not required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Lift up to 75 lbs independently and 150 lbs with assistance
- Push/pull materials over 150 lbs with a team
- Stand for extended periods
